Our unique programs reward the student with meaningful and relevant achievements while building scientific process skills, critical thinking skills, and life skills that boost self-confidence and establish a strong foundation for a love of learning.
High Touch High Tech comes to your location.
We serve all of San Antonio and the surrounding counties. High Touch High Tech scientists bring our "field trips" directly to your Elementary School, Middle School, Private School, Home School, After-School, Pre-School, Summer Camp, Birthday Party, Symposium, Corporate or Special Event, and we can even help with science fairs.
High Touch High Tech programs are age, grade, and TEKS appropriate.
We offer a wide variety of programs in nearly every scientific discipline. Whether your goal is fun with some education, or education that is a lot of fun, there is a High Touch High Tech program that will meet your needs. Elementary programs are specifically designed to align with the TEKS and complement the teachers' objectives. But generally, programs are available for each stage of student cognitive development; Pre-Operational (age 4-7), Concrete Operational (age 7-11), or Formal Operational (11-adult). We will work with you to assure that appropriate manipulatives and vocabulary are utilized; just don't let the students know--they'll be too busy having fun!
Our instructors are degreed professionals.
All High Touch High Tech scientists have at least a bachelor's degree in science, education, or professional field. Our scientists have successfully passed drug testing and criminal background checks. Our programs are carefully designed to utilize discovery-style activities with inquiry based dialogue. This format allows our scientists to facilitate rather than teach the lesson and creates that magical, low-stress/high-challenge environment that is optimal for learning. By partnering with our scientist, the teacher is able to maximize the benefit of their "field trip"; and nobody gets left off the bus!

We conduct Teacher Development Seminars
High Touch High Tech Teacher Development Seminars utilize the key principles of our hands-on science programs to provide practical approaches for effective science instruction. The Fear No Science series focuses on hands-on approaches for Physical, Earth, and Life science. The Make My Day series focuses on effective use of the TEKS and what to do with those dusty science boxes. The What's The Use series focuses on interdisciplinary, critical thinking, and effective use of field trips.
