Elementary Programs:
Edison’s Workshop©
Conduct electricity. Demonstrate that electricity flows in a circuit and can produce heat, light, sound, and magnetic effects. (Circuits and Electricity 5.6.A, 5.6.B)
Our Living Planet©
Students build an interactive model to illustrate the Carbon Dioxide-Oxygen cycle and identify its significance to the survival of plants and animals. (Organisms and the Environment 5.9.D)
Matter Matters©
When matter matters, call us. We’ll provide a program that meets your need; solid, liquid, gas, measure, classify, properties, mixtures and solutions, etc. (Matter for every grade)
Newton In A Nutshell©
Have a hands-on experience with Newton’s laws of motion. Measure and record what happens when forces are applied to our toys. (Experiment with Forces 5.6.D)
Rainbow Relays©
Reflect upon the refraction of light. Students make light bounce and bend to see what’s what. (Light 5.6.C)
Rainforest Safari©
Build your own rainforest and discover the amazing plant and animal adaptations the enable organisms to survive in their environment. (Adaptations 3.10.A, 4.10.A, 5.9.A)
Cycle Babble©
The Sun! Students will demonstrate the water cycle then illustrate and explain the role of the Sun as a major source of energy in this process. (Sun and Water Cycle 2.8.C, 4.8.B)
Dig It©
Don’t get stuck in the mud! Students will step with confidence into the science of soils as they learn about soil types and test their properties. (Soil Properties 4.7.A)
Earthscapades©
Identify and classify our renewable, non-renewable, and alternative resources, how we put them to use, and the importance of conservation. (Resources 3.7.D, 4.7.C, 5.7.C)
Earthworks©
The class will build a 3-D model to illustrate how the energy from the Sun is used by producers, consumed by animals, then decomposed to be used again. (Food Chain 5.9.B, 5.9.C)
Go With The Flow©
Discover and demonstrate how weathering, erosion, and deposition change the Earth’s landforms. (Changes to Land 4.7.B, 5.7.B)
Fossil Fun©
Explore the processes the form sedimentary rock and fossil fuels and identify what happened before. Changing Earth 5.7.A, 5.7.D)
Zoom To The Moon©
Students build a model that helps to identify the sequence and predict the observable appearance of the moon over time. (Patterns in the Natural World 4.8.C)
